Can I retake GMAT?

Another important point to keep in mind about the unique GMAT is that an applicant cannot appear for this exam more than 5 times in a 12-month rolling period. Also, one can attempt this exam to a maximum of 8 times in a lifetime.

The fee deposited for the exam is not refundable; so, make sure to schedule the exam when you are full-prepared to and able to take it. Apart from this, the fee for rescheduling the exam is US$50.

Using GMAT for Admission

Most important of all, the GMAT score is valid up to 5 years only. Application deadlines for various universities differ; hence, it is advisable to search for the specific universities you are applying to and then schedule your exam.
